Three months have passed so quickly

I'll go back to work tomorrow after three months of maternity.. I am not happy about it but I guess I should be lucky to even have a job to go back to in this messed up economy ..

I've recently been tagged by my sister on facebook to post 25 random things of myself ... so I thought to post them here too...

1. I can only put perfumes thats color match my clothes!! ya3ny if I'm wearing purple I'll put a blue or purple colored perfume ..stupid I know

2. I can only increase the volume in even numbers and never odd

3. If I'm lieing or exaggerating I'll use the number 7 and anything with 7 ...for example I'll say I called you 17 times and you didn't pick up..thats an exaggeration ..lol

4. Whenever I travel and no matter what time it is... I must pass by the McDonalds in Dubai airport before boarding and have a cheeseburger ..

5. I fear going to the washroom without my mobile!! I feel I might get stuck or anything would happen and I need my mobile to get help.

6. I can put full make up lipstick, eye shadow, foundation ... Everything without looking in the mirror. I know my face well.

7. I vomit or almost vomit everyday whenever i brush my teeth

8. i mostly kiss babies,my husband, my son & daughter, my youngest sister & siblings and my mother (when she's asleep or sick) on their head and sniff their hair strongly when i'm kissing.

I only do it if I really love that person strongly.

9. If i'm sleeping on one side and want to change to the other I don't just turn . . I have to get my upper body up then turn to the other side.

10. If I'm in a meeting or listening to someone i discreetly write what they're saying or some words on my leg or chair with my finger

11. I was on a flight from Montreal wo Paris that had a Moroccan guy who attempted to hijack the plane but failed... best part is that i was asleep the entire flight and didn't know until i reached Dubai

12. My father won a 1997 SEL 500 Mercedes from Dubai airport but my mum made him sell it and donate the money for charity because it was 7araam :(

13. I was lost an entire day in Venice Italy when i was 9 years old

14. I always thought that when the groom kisses his bride on her forehead is one of the most romantic gestures ever.... so after my husband and I exchanged our wedding rings he stood there staring at me so I leaned forward and said in english (so pp won't lip read what I said): Kiss me on my forehead.. and he did while I was cracking up

15. I hit Zaid (my brother) on his head twice and opened it .. once with the coffee table's leg and once with a small rock

16. I used to believe (and still do sometimes) that I could lead Iraq and become Iraq's president and fix EVERYTHING ..

17. A few months back when i was heavily pregnant I discovered after returning from work that i was wearing one gold sandal and one silver sandal ... I was embarrassed for days every time i remembered

18. My daughter is now almost 3 months and still when ppl ask me how many kids do you have I answer 1 son... then i say and a daughter

19. I can easily lie to normal ppl but if I have to lie to an immigration officer, policeman, any authority figure or even a bus driver I feel sick and almost faint although I hide it very well and act so confidently

20. I cry allot when watching TV or movies...

21. I love sleeping on a sofa more than sleeping on a bed

22. I am able to speak fluently in so many Arabic accents and some english ones too

23. I love the smell of sheehsa although i don't smoke it

24. I find it almost impossible to swear in Arabic... a7is 3eeb

25. When I'm upset or angry or very emotional I tend to talk in english!!

Global Financial Crises makes my dream come true

Al7amdu lillah I'm (still) not one of those people that lost their job or life savings or any of that due to what is called the global financial crises, but all this instability has lead me to have this huge urge to be in control and in charge of my career through managing my own business... It might be the worst time to embark on such a matter but it just feels right to me to do it now and not postpone it any longer..

I'm not leaving my day job anytime soon so I thought to take things step by step and start by an online business that requires little capital and test the market and see how things go..

I'm spending allot of my time researching and going through similar businesses to get a better understanding in order to create a feasability study...

Ohhhhhhh... I'm so excited I can't wait to start and put my foot on the first step of making my dream come true...

I did it.. I've finally decided to go online and join the blogging community after one failed attempt where I found it hard to say my thoughts out load without this awkward feeling of being watched through that one-way glass window we see in police interrogation rooms in Hollywood movies..

But this time is different.. I'm in the mooooood for it..or maybe it's just me being board out of my mind during my maternity leave.

Whatever the reasons are the result is I did it :)
